The proposed Snoqualmie Falls Project is located on the Snoqualmie River in the region of Snoqualmie and Falls City, King County, Washington, situated about 30 miles east of mid-town Seattle. The project consists of a small concrete dam equipped with flashboards raising the water surface elevation to 401 feet; two generating plants with a combined installed capacity of 40,850 kw. The Project was determined to have a minimal effect on the aquatic environment. No adverse impact was foreseen.
