Sanjigen shintoryu no kanben kaisekiho to tunnel kussaku ji no jiban chinka kaiseki eno tekiyo. (Convenient procedure to analyze three-dimensional seepage and its application to the estimation of subsidence of the ground caused by tunneling)
This paper proposed the convenient procedure to analyze lowering the groundwater level, three dimensional sweepage and subsidence of the ground caused by tunnelling at a ground of shallow groundwater level. This procedure is based on following assumptions: (1) The ground is divided into a multitude of layers concerning the subsurface water flow. (2) Three-dimensional seepage is expressed as the composition of two dimensional flow in each layer and vertical exchange between adjacent layers. The band width of a matrix for the final simultaneous linear equation to be solved for numerical calculation can be reduced compared with true three-dimensional analysis by applying finite element method to the two-dimensional flow in a layer and by representing the vertical exchange between adjacent layers. Fundamental equation is established so as to be applicable for the free water table and enable the analysis for subsidence of the ground by considering the change of porosity when the ground deforms. The validity of this procedure could be verified by comparing with the theoretical solution. Further, this procedure can provide the useful prospect to study the effect on the ground water level or the distribution change for subsidence of the ground by applying to the ground subsidence due to tunnelling. 8 refs., 15 figs., 4 tabs.
