Construction of a Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The project contemplates the construction of a Federal building, to provide space for multi-agency use on a site to be acquired. The facility will include approximately 441,000 gross square feet, 331,000 net square feet, 142,800 square feet will be used as general purpose office space, service area and circulation, 188,000 square feet will be designed as interior parking for about 600 vehicles, and a Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The building will house about 700 employees. The site for the proposed building is a parcel of approximately 120,000 square feet, located in an urban renewal area in Oklahoma City. There will be short-term inconveniences associated with normal construction of the proposed Federal Office Building, but service to the public and the Federal agencies is expected to be improved through centralized operations and location.
