The volume is the second in the four-volume report. The volume presents the results of the review of published and unpublished literature, and interviews with State highway agencies, as the state-of-the-art for highway stormwater pollution control. Management practices were evaluated as to their pollutant removal effectiveness, design, physical characteristics, environmental considerations, cost, and overall applicability to highway runoff pollution control.
