This report provides information and analysis on the physical condition of the dam as of the report date. Information and analysis are based on visual inspection of the dam by the performing organization. Examination of available documents and visual inspection of the dam did not reveal conditions which constitute an immediate hazard to human life or property. However, the dam has some serious deficiencies which require further investigation and remedial work. Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis indicates that maximum spillway discharge capacity without flashboards is only about 39% of the PMF peak outflow. The 1/2 PMF would overtop the earth embankment and would probably cause failure. Therefore, in accordance with Corps of Engineers' screening criteria for review of spillway adequacy, spillway capacity is considered 'seriously inadequate' and the dam is assessed as unsafe, non-emergency.
