Rehabilitation of Heavy Duty Asphalt Concrete Runways
The objective of the research is to develop an innovative design procedure, which is appropriate for the rehabilitation of heavy duty asphalt concrete runways. This design procedure addresses one of the most common forms of pavement distress in runways; namely fatigue. With fatigue as the major concern, a design strategy has been developed for the environmental conditions of the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This procedure can be used in any geographic location, which has similar environmental conditions.
