Performance of Building Gaskets
The results of tests on three types of rubber building gaskets, in both laboratory tests and during exposure in sealed joints on the BRE natural exposure rig, are reported. Laboratory tests measured recovery after compression, and the air leakage characteristics of gasket samples under controlled conditions of temperature, compression and air pressure difference across simulated joints.
