Historic Structure Report Mule Barn at Four Locks Architectural Data, Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park - Maryland - District of Columbia - West Virginia
The mule barn is a C&O Canal structure opposite of lock 50 in the region of the canal known as Four Locks. The barn is an important historic structure and was a key element during the operation of the canal. Because of the importance and uniqueness of the barn, this report suggests that preservation aimed at haulting deterioration and providing structural safety of the barn should be implemented.
