National Dam Safety Program. Lake Suzanne (Inventory Number N.Y. 760) Hudson River Basin, Rockland County, New York. Phase I Inspection Report
The spillway is about 24 feet wide, ungated and has a sill 2 feet wide and 1.6 feet below the top of the dam. A 16-inch diameter cast iron reservoir drain is located near the left end of the spillway. The examination of documents and the visual inspection of Lake Suzanne did not reveal conditions which constitute an immediate hazard to human life or property. However, the dam has some deficiencies which require further investigation and remedial action. Using the Corps of Engineers screening criteria for review of spillway adequacy, it has been determined that the dam would be overtopped for all storms exceeding approximately 4 percent of the PMF.
