This document summarizes the Passive Solar Residential Program efforts conducted in the southeastern United States under the sponsorship of the US Department of Energy. The work was focused through a series of design projects, many of which were carried through the construction phase by participating local builders. This document provides information on the design process, the major projects, and shows typical home plans and the general characteristics of the passive solar systems.
