Leadership Training Welcomes Representatives from 21 Domestic and International Chapters
The general consensus among the 28 attendees of the Spring Chapter Leadership Training at ACI headquarters on May 16 -- May 17, 2016, was that meeting ACI staff and networking with peers was invaluable. "It was great to be face to face with those who are doing the same things with the same goals," said Rachele Fairley, Secretary for the Houston Chapter -- ACI. "The speakers were informative and interesting," she added. The format for this year's event was revamped to feature more expert speakers, including Jon Hockman, who spoke in 2015. Hockman, Principal at D3 Consulting, is a student of human dynamics and a specialist in the business of getting people to talk. His presentation on "value proposition" charged participants with investigating the needs of the chapter members as well as defining the chapter's unique story.
