Some construction properties of Western Sivash silts
Conclusions 1. The silts of the Western Sivash are characterized by distinctive conditions of accumulation and diagenesis, which are very important factors in the formation of their construction properties, which are different from the properties of typical sea silts. The low coefficient of porosity for silts, together with the low moisture suggest the classification of these silts in the group of degraded silts. 2. The classification of the Western Sivash silts must be worked out within the existing construction classification of sea silts.
