Conclusions The methods of compaction of collapsible loess soils by blast energy are characterized by their high effectiveness, and they should be applied more widely in the construction practice.For successful compaction of collapsible loess soils by the above methods, it is necessary to revise critically the existing deformation prediction methods, to organize specialized construction subdivision, and to instruct personnel for applying them.Under strict observance of the technical requirements, the introduction of blast compaction methods will yield an economic effect of more than 2 rubes per $ m^{3} $ of compacted soil, will reduce the cement consumption, and will increase the operating reliability of the buildings and structures being constructed.
