Deformations of unheated buildings with lightly loaded foundations in eastern part of the Baikal-Amur Railroad
Abstract The writer presents results of regime observations on 87 warehouses which show that the cause of impermissible deformations and collapse of the structures has been frost heave force action. Measures are recommended for increasing the operating reliability of buildings of this type constructed on high-temperature permafrost soils.
