Creep and long-term strength of clayey soils in triaxial compression
Abstract The results of experimental investigations of the creep and long-term strength of clayey soils, which the authors conducted on a stabilometric type of triaxial-compression machine, are discussed. Equations describing laws governing vanishing and nonvanishing creep with allowance for dilatancy, and also a variant of the time-dependent equation of the limiting stress state are proposed.
