A contribution to the analysis of the altimetry-gravimetry problem
Summary The altimetry-gravimetry problem in its modified form, as defined byPellinen (1980) andHolota (1982) (Δg given on land and δg given on sea), is analysed in spherical approximation: broader results concerning existence and uniqueness than those previously known are achieved. A proposal for the numerical solution of the problem is presented.
