Further thoughts on future directions for regional science: A response to Fujita's remarks on the general theory of location and space-economy
Abstract. Improvements for an extended General Theory of Location and Space-Economy are suggested involving dropping Samuelson's iceberg assumption, the introduction of still more imperfect competition beyond monopolistic competition, noise and a diffusion model, and relative utility with pairwise comparisons for conflict management.
