Joint apertures in a pre-cambrian crystalline rock mass in sweden
Summary Physical measurements of joint apertures in blasted rock walls and on rock outcrops give an unreliable result, due to the disturbances created by the blasting operations and in the latter case due to weathering effects. In this paper, hydraulic tests are used in order to obtain more significant values of the joint apertures. On the basis of the results of water-pressure tests, the joint apertures have been calculated in a crystalline rock mass.
