Elastic Analysis of a Pile Rectangular Cross Section Under Lateral Load
In continuation of our studies, this paper presents an analysis of a laterally loaded pile of rectangular cross section pile in elastic soil using the conformal mapping method of complex variable elasticity. Stress components and displacements around a rectangular rigid plate embedded in an infinity elastic soil are determined. Graphic representations of stress isolines and displacement vectors field are presented.
