Abstract Beginning from the Holecene human activity has increased and became more and more intensive as a results of transition from food appropriation to food production. It should be separated from the common group “activity of organisms” and considered as an independent geological agent increasingly affecting the course of many exogenous and some endogenous, processes. The course of these processes during the whole Proterozoic and Phanerozoic (about 2.5 billion years) is compared with that during the last 10 thousand years. The Earth's face changes quickly. This makes it possible to assert the transition from the Quaternary or the Pleistocene to the Quinary or the Technogene which has begun in the Holocene and will set in completely during the next millenium.
