In-Situ Customization of the Helical Pile Design Procedure Using Plaxis 2D
The present paper substantiates the relevance of the scientific and technical task of designing effective helical pile constructions under conditions of insufficient development of existing standards. An adapted computer design technique was developed on the basis of comparison and analysis of the calculation results and field tests for multi-helix helical piles in cohesive and cohesionless soils using an elastic-plastic model. Recommended optimal values for the pile-soil interaction factors for the proposed methodology are presented.
