Reservoir dam safety monitoring method based on BeiDou positioning
To improve the accuracy of dam safety monitoring, the study introduces precision single-point positioning on the basis of BeiDou positioning and proposes precision single-point positioning BeiDou positioning system. Selected monitoring data from a dam monitoring station in Sichuan, the precision single-point positioning BeiDou positioning system and the traditional satellite positioning system for comparison experiments, the results show that, in the dam displacement monitoring comparison experiments, the precision single-point positioning BeiDou positioning system in the different test points of the accuracy of 87.33%, 94.83% and 94.44%, are much higher than the accuracy of the traditional satellite positioning system monitoring. The results show that the dam safety monitoring system based on the precision single-point positioning Beidou positioning system can obtain higher positioning accuracy and can be used as a long-term effective means for dam safety monitoring.
