What Makes Good Communication in Architecture and Construction?
My interest in architecture developed intuitively. Growing up in the Ruhr area in the 1950s/60s, I was impressed as a student by the massive industrial architecture, the mine towers, blast furnaces, factory halls, all brightly lit at night. But it also sensitized me to the sometimes brutal interventions in nature and landscape. I studied economics and political science, always combined with a penchant for architecture, fine arts, and design.
