Stack Effects of Kitchen Exhaust Shaft in High-Rise Buildings
Centralized mechanical exhaust system for high-rise residential buildings are introduced, including centralized exhaust system, hybrid exhaust system, and distributed exhaust system. Main influence factors of exhaust effect of shaft are discussed about shapes, cross-sectional size of shaft, kitchen exhaust hoods’ performance, operating rate, and temperature difference. Drag reduction measures are also presented.
