Abstract Of course, one can build a building in a green meadow. Another possibility is to move into a 30 or 40 years old standard building. Both solutions would be cheaper. But, what about the clients? Would they like it? They usually would to buy in a city and not in a green meadow. The factory (Fig. 1) was erected in 1877, later the building was modernized. The building was partially destroyed during the second world war. The reconstruction took place in 1946. All the time, there had always been a typical workshop for mechanical engineering. It is a threespan single-storey building. The middle span is 8,5 m and the heigth is also 8,5 m.
