The subway, which boomed in more and more cities, has been considered as a significant way to solve the urban traffic problems. Up to now, more than 14 subway lines are in operation and some new lines are being built in Shanghai. With the rapid development of the subway rail transit, the settlement of soft clay foundation caused by the cyclic loading has been drawn wide attention and has become one of the research interests of soil dynamic mechanics.
