The Cultural Integration Phenomenon of Shenyang Architectural Heritage
Urban architecture is the accumulation and carrier of various cultures. As an important carrier of local cultural identity, relic architecture records the changes in urban culture, not only in material assets retained in history but also in cultural resources required for future development. It was found that Shenyang’s modern buildings are the coexistence of Chinese and foreign architecture, simultaneously developed in the early days. Since then, not only has the traditional construction method been followed, but it has also continued to change and develop, accounting for localization. This traditional construction method was further influenced by foreign culture and acquired the development phenomena of transplantation, collision, mixing, and integration.
