Nanomaterials and Nanosensors for Medical Applications
Abstract We review recent developments in nanomaterials as applied to bio-medical applications and nanosensors. We review the use of dendrimers in medicine. We also discuss bio-sensors, silicon-based applications and the use of DNA in nanotechnology. Drug delivery by various nanomaterials and hydrophyllic nanoparticles is examined in detail. Nanoscale control by using fluidic channels and micro-electro-mechanical systems are reviewed along with the tissue engineering problems.
