Automatic Simulation Technology of Skid Resistance Performance of Asphalt Pavement
The cement concrete abrasion tester and the modification of the cement concrete abrasion tester were used to simulate the skid resistance performance of asphalt pavement under vehicle load in this paper. The asphalt concrete specimen was grinded by the cement concrete abrasion tester. The improved cement concrete testing machine is used to polish the asphalt concrete specimen, and the pendulum value of the polished asphalt mixture is measured by the pendulum-type friction coefficient measuring instrument. The results show that there is a good linear relationship between the quality of the specimen after grinding and the rotation times of different coarse aggregate SMA-13. The skid resistance performance decays rapidly in the early stage, slowly in the later stage, and finally tends to be stable. The skid resistance of limestone pavement is faster than that of basalt pavement.
