Decision-Support Integration-Platform for Major Emergency Management
Abstract MEMbrain is a European project currently developing a hardware and software platform for the integration of decision support systems in the management of major emergencies (MEM). MEMbrain relies on the intensive use of information technology, enhanced by relevant expertise in risk analysis and environmental disciplines in order to define and implement a robust and standard framework enabling the efficient utilization of MEM services and tools, both existing and those to be developed. The MEMbrain consortium brings together major actors from six European countries and is carried out under the auspices of the Eureka program.
