Gravity flow — Siphon system of cooling components of turbine — generator units
Conclusions 1. The introduction of the gravity flow — siphon cooling system of the components of units of hydroelectric stations will considerably reduce the consumption of electricity for own needs. 2. The use of the gravity flow — siphon system is possible when the coolers of the components of the unit are 6 m above the level of intake of water. 3. The process of assembling the gravity flow — siphon cooling system of the units can be completely automated.
