Smart Communities and Cities as a Unified Concept
Smart cities are based on decentralized units called communities. These communities have to move forward to supply the current and future needs of citizens, so they have to adapt their configuration in public spaces and indoor environments. This chapter presents how technology is helping to develop this reconfigurable smart city that can detect the citizen’s requirements and try to solve those by the data they are providing online.
