This research concerns the combined use of historical analysis with contemporary techniques of visualization to unearth some unrealized projects for the Rialto Bridge in Venice. It focuses on the digital reconstruction of two design ideas by Vincenzo Scamozzi presented on the occasion of a competition announced at the end of the sixteenth century.
