Electric conductivity of profiled ion-exchange membranes
Abstract An approach to calculation of surface electrical resistance of ion-exchange membranes with complex surface geometry is proposed. The approach is applied to diagnostics of the capsulation effect in profiled membranes, which can appear upon hot pressing of heterogeneous ion-exchange membranes and lead to an increase in their surface resistance.
