Conclusions 1. A method was developed for calculating thermal stresses with consideration of creep of the material in the system “concrete block-foundation in the form of a half-strip.” 2. The limits of applicability of the Arutyunyan principle were established for such systems. 3. Tables of influence numbers are given, by means of which one can determine the thermal stresses in a block for an arbitrary change of its mean volume temperature with time.
