Optimum Type of Depth Constructions in Insulated Soils
The reliability of the operation of constructed buildings and constructions depends on the rational types of foundations. In cases where structurally unstable engineering geological elements (EGE) are present in the base, the design and construction of the foundations are subject to increased requirements. For bases folded from sedimentary soils of natural occurrence, the main deterioration indicators are the relative sedimentation coefficient ɛse and the initial sedimentary pressure Pse. Neglect of the impact of these indicators in most cases leads to a deterioration in the reliability of the facilities constructed. This article gives an example of geotechnical practice in which, due to a timely detected error of omission of sloppy characteristics avoided the emergency situation of an object being built.
