Geotechnical Modelling of Optimization of Technological Parameters of the Tailing Dam Alluvium
A complex of modelling tests and numerical analysis was used for predicting the stability of the tailing dam. Modelling tests were carried out on the specially designed installation which permit to establish the regularities of distribution of tails on a beach in the course of an alluvium, to determinate of their physical and mechanical properties and to establish the regularities of their changes in process of consolidation, dehydration etc. During tests, the influence of technological parameters of the alluvium on the tails distribution on the beach of the tailing dump was investigated.
