Addressing the Water Crisis in Tunisia: Comparative Analysis of Sustainable Solutions
The water crisis in Tunisia has escalated due to multiple factors such as increasing demand, inefficient water use practices, and the impacts of climate change. The availability of freshwater resources has become increasingly insufficient to meet the country's demand, prompting the need for sustainable solutions. This study evaluates several potential solutions such as desalination, inter-basin water transfer, rainwater harvesting among others to alleviate the water crisis in Tunisia. This comparative study evaluates these potential solutions from multiperspectives to serve as a guide towards more sustainable options.
