Geomechanical Accompaniment of Construction and Operation of Earthen Water-Development Works
Criteria based on the interrelation between parameters of seismic waves and soil characteristics are proposed for evaluation of the geomechanical status of soils in protective dikes during the construction and in-service cycle with use of the method of seismic tomography. The procedure and results of its use during construction of dikes by JSC SZFK “Olenii ruchei” on the Kola Peninsula are presented.
