An Improved Design Wave Analysis Method for Offshore Floating Truss Platform
In recent years, a large number of floating platforms similar to semi-submersible platforms but using a large number of medium-sized components for frame support have appeared in offshore engineering. Such platforms are used in floating wind power, Marine aquaculture platforms, sightseeing and tourism platforms. Design wave analysis is required for conventional offshore floating platform, but the traditional design wave analysis method is not fully applicable to trussed platform due to the large differences in structural forms. In order to accurately evaluate structural safety, traditional design wave analysis will lead to too many calculation conditions and too optimistic calculation results. In this paper, an improved design wave analysis method is proposed to solve the structural design problem of floating truss platform in the ocean, and the technical route of this method is summarized.
