Research on the Application of Green Building Technology in the Renovation of Old Residential Quarters
China's towns and cities have a huge number of old residential quarters with inherent hardware deficiencies and huge potential for energy saving and carbon reduction. At the same time the rapid and massive retrofitting work also puts great pressure on environmental pollution and energy saving. Therefore, the introduction of green building concepts into the transformation of old residential quarters, the use of green building technology to implement green transformation is an inevitable trend in the development of transformation of old residential quarters in China's cities and towns. Based on the existing green building research, this paper proposes the application strategy of green building technology in the greening of old residential quarters from four aspects: green renovation design, green renovation construction, updating of enclosure structure, and updating of energy-saving equipments, with a view to providing useful reference for the greening of old urban neighborhoods in China in the future.
