Calculation of Vibration Period of Tall Pyramidal Buildings Structures with Tube Systems, Tube-In-Tube, Bundled Tube and Hybrid Tube Systems with Shear Wall
With the increase in population in the metropolises and the increasing need for high-rise buildings, the need for research and understanding of these structures is also increasing. The tube system is also one of the most suitable structural systems for high-rise buildings and towers. The purpose of this study is to obtain the natural frequency of structures and other seismic behavior parameters of structures with different types of tube systems for pyramidal structures. For this purpose, 24 models with four tubular structural systems including tubular, tubular with shear wall, tube-in-tube and categorized tube systems with three pyramidal angles of zero, 1.23- and 2.45-degrees deviation from vertical direction were considered according to the definition of tall buildings with three heights. They were analyzed with numerical method and analytic presented methods. In modeling, details such as peripheral walls and middle columns outside the structural system were also included in the modeling. The results of this study indicate that the investigated analytical method is in better agreement with structures with higher height and without pyramidal angle. Also, this analytical method has the least error value for the tubular system and the highest error value for tube-in-tube systems selected models.
