Electron and Phonon Properties of A-15 Compounds and Chevrel Phases
Abstract A review of the information on the electron and phonon spectra in the A-15 compounds and Chevrel phase superconductors obtained from nuclear magnetic resonance, heat capacity, and Mossbauer effect experiments is presented. Relationships of the Fermi energy electrons and the soft phonons to the strength of the electron-phonon interaction are discussed.
