Data Analysis and Research Findings
From the study, twenty-one (21) variables were found to be independent variables toward building condition as dependent variable in the study. The variables were analysed to identify the ranking of the result analysis. The other analysis was conducted such as factor analysis to test the relationship between factors toward building condition. The correlation analysis was performed to identify the significant relationship between the variables. The logistic regression model was produced for prediction purpose. Only one model was acceptable to produce to predict the building condition. Three (3) independent variables significantly improve the model which is poor waterproofing, lack of maintenance; and lack of cleaning. The regression model is useful to predict the condition of the building. The condition of the building will be improved by eliminating or reducing the source of factors which can lead to building defects. The condition assessment finding was obtained through archived documentations and the result were analysed together with the interview results to validate the findings. The results were valid, and the conclusion of the research would be discussed in Chap. 7.
