Plasma Induced Polymerization
Abstract A cold plasma can be used as a source of reactive species able to initiate the polymerization of a monomer. These species can be compared to the initiator in polymer chemistry. When the monomer is in the liquid or solid phase during the plasma treatment, this polymerization is generally called plasma induced polymerization (1).
