Specific Features of Microwave Absorption of Superconducting Ceramics in a Magnetic Field
Abstract Presently, different properties of ceramics on the base of metal oxide superconductors (Ba-Pb-Bi-O 1 , Sr-La-Cu-O and Ba-Y-Cu-O) are being studied intensively. This work deals with the investigation of the microwave absorption in the Ba-Y-Cu-O base ceramics in the range of 9 GHz. The ≃1 mm3 sample was placed in a maximum of the microwave magnetic field of the EPR spectrometer cavity, and the microwave power, R, absorbed by the sample and its derivative dR/dHo were measured with respect to the magnetic field.
