The Architectural Design: A Learning Process
Starting from general research about the quality of learning, this research is an application to architectural design as a particular case. The technical-artistic nature of these processes makes their research more complex and has been less treated.
From a homogeneous sample of architecture students from the E.T.S.A.M. who began their studies between 2010 and 2017, two kinds of data are collected. Ones of a quantitative nature, related to academic qualifications; and the others of a qualitative and phenomenography nature, about the most relevant emotions felt during their learning processes. Obtaining this kind of data, its subsequent treatment and the interpretation of the results are the objective of this work.
The ultimate interest of these investigations is to provide accurate meters that help us design better learning environments for creative processes.
