Improved Power Quality SMPS for Personal Computer Applications
Abstract The design and control of an improved power quality two stage dc–dc converter based switched mode power supply (SMPS) is carried out for personal computer applications. The proposed SMPS is formed by a diode bridge rectifier which is connected to a non-isolated converter. The output of this stage is connected to a high frequency isolated multiple output dc-dc converter. The output dc voltage at both the stages is regulated for power quality improvement.
