Conclusions 1. Verification of the simplified method for power tests on hydraulic units revealed that this method will produce the power characteristics required for optimizing the regimes of hydroelectric plants. 2. The simplified method makes it possible to reduce significantly the time required for the power tests and processing of the data, as well as to lower the costs.
