Abstract One of the most interesting recent advances in the field of conjugated polymers has been the synthesis of such macromolecules soluble in common organic solvents (1, 2, 3). There are many reasons for studying conjugated polymers in solution. A simple one is that basic information such as molecular weight can be obtain since it is possible to discriminate a single chain from an aggregate (several so-called “solutions” are in fact suspensions of aggregates).
